Lift analysis done by Conbit

Conbit’s added value

Prior to the decommissioning, a structural analysis of the topsides was required to determine the structural integrity during the lifting process of the topside.

As a specialist in structural engineering and heavy lifting, ENGIE contracted Conbit to conduct the structural analyses for the two platforms.

Conbit analyzed the topside for each platform using the total combined loadings consisting of structural, equipment, and piping weights. The topside's structural steel was completely modeled in a FEM (Finite Element Method) program called SACS.
