Conbit has several solutions to provide lifting capacity at hard-to-reach locations. Space on new-to-build FPSOs is always very limited. Different components prevent easy access.

Project scope

SBM Offshore contracted Conbit to provide its expertise with handling components that were unlikely to fail but were critical to the process. If they fail, they need to be replaced on very short notice.

Material handling specifications and equipment

Shutdown valves are unlikely to fail. However, in case they do, they need to be replaced on very short notice is high since production needs to be continued. Flare tips and other equipment are more likely to fail. Conbit can provide lift weight solutions for these challenges.

Most of our systems are constructed from components that can be manhandled. The components are standard, and different lifting configurations can be created. Lift winches or hoists operate these lifting configurations. With these systems, Conbit provides easier Material Handling. Material Handling specifications for new-to-build FPSOs can be met.
