Conbit has been the preferred lifting solutions company of PTTEP for their flare tip replacements for many years.
During the spring of 2014, two HP flare tips were replaced on the Bongkot platform. The Bongkot North platform is located offshore in Thailand. Conbit is a subcontractor of CR Asia, which represents the company in the South-East Asia Region. CR Asia was awarded the flare tip replacement contract.

Unique cooperation
The relationship between Conbit and its local representative is solid and brings the best possible service to our clients in South East Asia. The CR crew prepared the entire job on-site, and Conbit assisted on the actual lifting. The team comprised of three CR technicians and three Conbit technicians.
The team completed the flare tip replacement within a shutdown of five days.
