Conbit mobilizes specialized equipment and manpower to repair a firewater caission at TotalEnergie's platform, F15A.

At Conbit, we specialize in executing intricate projects with precision and expertise. Our recent collaboration with SEW Energy on a project for TotalEnergies Nederland is a testament to our commitment to excellence in lifting and rigging services.

In our partnership with SEW Energy, Conbit took charge of the lifting works and provided essential rope access support, while SEW Energy handled the welding and fitting works onsite. The client, TotalEnergies Nederland, entrusted us with a critical task: supporting the repair of the firewater caisson at its F15A platform, situated offshore in the Netherlands.

Caisson Replacement Execution

Conbit's role in the project involved the meticulous lifting and rigging of both the old and new caisson sections. This operation required a seamless coordination between our team and the onsite personnel to ensure the safe and efficient transfer and installation of the caisson sections.

Caission replacement equipment

To facilitate the transfer and installation process, Conbit deployed a sophisticated lift and tramway solution. The remaining caisson sections were lifted using a pair of 6mT pneumatic chain hoists, strategically attached at the first platform deck. Despite the tight space around the existing firewater caisson, our team maneuvered with precision, ensuring a smooth operation.

Additionally, to manage the suspended sections during the welding process, three lift lines were strategically attached underneath the platform and jacket legs. These lines enabled the seamless transfer of caisson sections to the tramway lines, ultimately reaching the edge of the platform where the deck crane could efficiently handle them.

Experienced Crew

At Conbit, we understand the importance of having a skilled and dedicated team for successful project execution. Our crew comprised a blend of rope access technicians and lifting professionals who worked collaboratively to overcome challenges and ensure timely completion of the project. Their expertise and commitment were instrumental in achieving the desired outcomes.

Conclusion

At Conbit, we take pride in our ability to deliver innovative solutions for complex lifting challenges. Our partnership with SEW Energy and TotalEnergies Nederland underscores our unwavering dedication to excellence and safety in every project we undertake. Trust Conbit for your next lifting project, and experience the difference expertise makes.
