Summary of the role

·        Sr. Field Service Engineer Cranes

·        €2,750– €4,000 (Depending on experience)

·        Full-time

·        HQ in Eindhoven – when not on a service job remote work is possible.

What are you going to do?

·    Perform installation, (de)commissioning,maintenance,troubleshooting, and repair of marine and offshore (rental) cranes.

·    Conduct statutory inspections on liftingappliances to ensure theircompliance with safetyregulations and industry standards and provide detailed reports on findings.

·   Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to plan and execute services, ensuring on-time completion and customer satisfaction.

·   Diagnose electrical, mechanical, andhydraulic issues, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to resolvetechnical problems efficiently.

·   Provide technical support and training to customers, assisting them in operating and maintaining cranes effectively.

·   Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts usage, and customer interactions in our CRM system.

·   Stay current with relevant industry trends,advancements, and best practices to continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Who are you?‍

·   At least five years of experience as technician in the marine and offshore crane business or related.

·   Proficiency in diagnosing andrepairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

·   Strong understanding of craneoperation, load dynamics, and safety protocols.

·   Organize, manage, and complete services individually and in teamwork.

·   Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

·   Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers and team members.

·   Knowledge of English language in understanding, writing, and speaking. Proficiency in other languages is considered an advantage.

·   Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations, inspections, and repairs. Indication of international travel: 25% (can be discussed).
