Business Development Representative Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

We’re seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Representative to grow our presence in the oil and gas industry. You’ll identify new opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and drive sales by offering customized solutions under the supervision of the Regional Sales Manager. Responsibilities include market research, preparing proposals, and attending industry events. Strong communication and a good understanding of the oil and gas sector are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and projects in the oil and gas industry
• Generate new business by meeting potential clients to understand their needs and providing relevant offshore lifting solutions
• Contribute to sales targets in Malaysia through proactive business development activities
• Maintain strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients
• Support the Regional Sales Manager during tenders by providing information to clients
• Prepare proposals in line with client requirements
• Building strong and collaborative relationships with the Head office in The Netherlands

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business.
• 4+ years' of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, ideally upstream
• 3+ years' of experience in Business Development or Sales positions
• Strong networker & relationship builder
• Proactive and goal-driven
• Fluency in English
